Disey and I spent a fantastic hour on the Emmy Lou paddle steamer on Monday afternoon. Just a fantastic way to spend time. Very relaxing! Do it! NOW!

Oscar W's is our favourite restaurant in Echuca and possibly our favourite all round! This place is set on the banks of the Murray, in the heart of Echuca. Every year we treat ourselves to a "nice" dinner as a treat and this place is the only one we consider. The duck is just incredible - its the same main we've ordered for three years running :) Why try other options when you've found perfection? :) We top that with the Eden Valley white (a bottle of course!!) and look out over the Murray river and the old ghost gum trees. If you can't make it for dinner definitely try the Tapas for lunch (along with a glass of white!).

For anyone not familiar with Echuca - its set on the Murray, around 2 hours drive north from Melbourne. Echuca was, a long time ago, the largest inland port in the world. A magnificent place you have to see.
